Cliff jumping in Bermuda is fun: There’s nothing more exhilarating than jumping over the edge of a cliff into the warm waters below.

Obviously when starting out, it’s best to start off with smaller cliffs and work your way up. And it goes without saying that before you dive in, make the sure you’re jumping from a firm surface and that the area of the sea below is both safe and clear. The idea is to spend most of your time at the beach and not in hospital!

The most popular spot is Admiralty House Park, which is located on North Shore outside Hamilton. During summer, you’ll get used to seeing lots of kids jumping off the cliffs there. There is also a beach and across the water there are higher cliffs, though these are not safe to dive from.

The best and the safest spot here is known as ‘Canon’ where the rock-face has formed arch-like formations, which can be seen from the water.

The Blue Hole lake at Tom Moore’s Jungle is also a great place for cliff jumping. The lake is surrounded by cliff covered with plantation and forest. Once you get to the viewing deck of the lake, follow the red dirt pathway to the right through forested area and you’ll find two cliff-jumping points. But always jump with your feet touching the water first in case the water is not very deep, and beware of slippery terrain if it’s wet.

And it’s not only guys who like ‘falling off the rock’ as you can watch here…
