Job Title: Hedge Funds Lawyer

A leading firm located in Georgetown in Grand Cayman, is looking for a Senior Hedge Funds Lawyer to join its busy office. Responsibilities will include in-house counsel, compliance, director services for hedge funds, and liaison with foreign management companies with a view to introducing news business to the practice.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of some or all of the following: Offshore jurisdiction experience, familiarity with offshore financial services providers, hedge fund and trusts experience, corporate law.

Please note that for all jobs in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands, you must be fully qualified as a a lawyer or fiduciary professional (LLB, STEP etc) in order to be granted a work permit. Other restrictions may apply for jobs in different jurisdictions. There is no income tax in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and the BVI. Caribbean jobs are usually on a two-year initial contract basis.

Job Title: Corporate Lawyers

A top offshore law firm with offices in Bermuda and the Caribbean is looking for Corporate Lawyers to join its expanding practice. Successful applicants must be qualified attorneys with 3-5 years' PQE in the mainstream of company and private client work, well-versed in the drafting of sophisticated corporate documents and with a good knowledge of Company Law.

Leading company based in Bermuda seeks an Associate General Counsel to assume responsibility for counselling underwriters in regards of insurance transactions, advising management in respect of run-off agreements, drafting security instruments, and managing corporate governance, compliance and in-house relations. This role requires a candidate who has been admitted to the bar with at least 7 years' legal experience in the (Re)Insurance space and experience of UK, US and Bermuda regulations.

Our client is a top offshore practice based in Grand Cayman and seeks a high-calibre Litigation Lawyer. The Successful applicant will be responsible for expertise and advocacy in sophisticated matters, including banking and commercial litigation, asset recovery, disputes, negligence, insurance regulatory advice, structured finance arrangements and trust issued. Applicants will have at least 3 years' PQE with a good firm and relevant experience.
